Does this cat have feline eye disease?

A stray cat gave birth to kittens a few months back, now there’s only one little kitten alive, without a mother. When her siblings were alive, they had red eyes, some were blind and puss coming out of their eyes. You could clearly see that they had the disease. We want to welcome the last kitten into our home, and tame her, but we’re afraid that she has the disease, and will give it to our other cat.
Symptoms she has:
-Her eye is a little reddish compared to her other eye.
-she has puss coming out of her eye, but not too much
-has alittle hard sometimes opening the eye fully.
her eye is not really red, and it isn’t clear if she has the disease. But I don’t want to shove her in a box and take her to a veterinarian when she might not have the disease.
Any help (or advice) would be great!

my cat who is 15 has had this problem since last sunday where her eye is so swollen you can not even see her eye.she has been to the vets three times this week for anti inflammatory injection, antibiotics injection and tablets and eye ointment.she is due back again next tuesday, this is a very serious illness of the eye and only can be helped by a vet.her eye as only started opening this morning but its still very sore and inflamed.you really need a vet and because your kitten is so young, only medicine from the vets will even save the sight of her eyes.
My 3 month kitten has this same thing. Her entire litter did too. When I decided to bring her to my apartment I took her to the vet and he told me that it is a form of pink eye. He gave me a gel to put in her eyes three times a day for two weeks. It’s been a week and a half and her eyes are almost completely better. I would take your kitten to vet because it is highly contagious to other animals and even humans. As long as you wash your hands after playing with her though you should be fine. Your kitten might have something different but those are the same symptoms my kitten had. If you end up not taking her to the vet then at least wash her face often with a wet cloth. Wash upwards around the eye because this activates her tear ducts and helps flush her eyes out!
This may be a form of conjunctivitis. You should take your cat to the veterinarian soon. It’s best not to bring the infected kitten around your other cat. The disease can be transmitted easily. You should also be careful when handling the kitten because you may pass it on to your other cat if you handle it afterwards.
