Does my kitten have Feline Herpesvirus?

She sneezes sometimes and is very prone to eye infections. She around 10 weeks old now and had surgeries for a hernia a few weeks ago but she doing fine now. She’s been sneezing and having the runny nose since she was a couple weeks old though. She acts like a normal kitten other than that. My other cat which would be her grandmother has always a had a runny nose and prone to eye infections and sneezed. I think feline herpesvirus is contagious so do you think the rest of my cats have it? They don’t act like anything worng with them besides occasional eye infection or sneezing. My vet gave me something called Enisyl-F and its supposed to help it. Have you ever heard of it? Is there any side effects to it or is it dangerous? I think its bee helping my kitten with her runny nose although she does have an eye infection that is being treated with terramycin ointment. Do you think they even have feline herpesvirus? How common is it? Thanks.

my cat has it, its fairly common i do believe, we just found out.
he never had a runny nose but he did have the occasional sneezing and when stressed his eye would get infected. it is very contageous. id say just use the medicine the vet gave you and if it gets better keep an eye out. this is the second or third time hes gotten an eye infection, and this time they were like WELL NOW LETS SEE IF HE HAS HERPES and i was like omfg what what? so yeah. not too big of a deal in the long term just l-lysine ( a fairly cheap vitamin) every day.
but i wouldnt really know from that info, my cat never had a runny nose, but that could just be part of the upper respitory problems occuring from feline herpes.
tho my vet did not mention running nose, so maybe he has a long running cold. 10 weeks is very young. i have an 8 wk old kitten we rescued and we give him so vitamin stuff ina tube tat he loves often, so he gets good nutritional suppliment, since hes off milk..
