Cat Kitten Feline
Bree asked:

has anyone tried or currently trying innova cat and kitten food for their feline friend? Is there any bad recall on this, and if not…how well is it working for your cat?

I am sick of feeding my kitten poor quality from the grocery store! I want her to have the life she deserves.

thanks

Good for you! I’ve never heard of Innova, but I’d suggest Iams or Purina for your pets. They’re both highly respected.

I’m not sure if there’s a recall on it or not but look at and search for pet food recalls.
I’m so glad that you are willing to give your kitten the best!
You can always feed your kitty Purina dry food, or dry cat food from your vet’s office.

Innova is a very good high quality food. They have not been involved in any recalls, they manufacture their own dry food in their own plant so they are 100% responsible for buying the ingredients, all of which are US sourced I believe. Since this big recall scare they have started testing all of their food, both canned and dry, for melamine. They have also pledged to build their own cannery so they can have complete control of every aspect of production. I really like the company. I have a dog, not a cat, but my dog has done very well on their food. I like the Innova EVO for cats. It’s higher in meat protein which cats have an easier time digesting.

No recalls- they like it, but it’s very rich for some. My little boy had his wet food reduced because it’s so rich.
Our friends ran an organic restaurant and they turned us on to this food- the ingredients are meat, not garbage fillers. It’s very healthy for them, it’s a great food. I don’t feed the grocery brands either, that stuff is crap. If you don’t eat at Whitecastle, neither should kitty.

Innova EVO is an excellent choice 50% protein 34% fat exactly what cats need. It is equivelent to a raw diet in dry form.

I also use Felidae and Chicken Soup for the cat lovers soul. All are great foods with meat based protein and no grains
