Every cat I’ve ever had is terrified of the vacuum cleaner. They run for the hills as soon as the thing starts up, which is useful because it keeps them out of the way while you work. This cat apparently doesn’t mind, and is taking advantage of the way a vacuum will take loose hair off and actually tug at the scalp in a fairly pleasing manner.How they got this feline to not be terrified of the sucking tube of doom I can only guess at.

If there were a panel of judges holding up cards rating Mr. Romeo on his form, I’m sure he would be racking up some high scores! Back straight, legs directly in front, tail extended, eyes forward. It was a very lucky shot. I happened to have the camera in hand when he took up a position on the floor, looking up to the counter top, and his back end signaled that he was preparing to jump.
